LUBLIN REGION
Roztocze, Polesie, and Renaissance towns.
Zamość, Kazimierz Dolny, Roztocze, Polesie. A region where East and West meet.
The East with Character
The Lublin Region is where Poland meets the East. Orthodox churches, synagogues, Catholic churches — all side by side, a testimony to centuries of multiculturalism.
Zamość is a Renaissance pearl, one of the few cities in the world designed entirely by a single architect. Kazimierz Dolny delights with loess ravines and a market square lined with townhouses. Both are perfect for a slow weekend.
Roztocze and Polesie
Roztocze is a land of gentle hills, the Szumy cascades on the Tanew, wooden mills, and cycling trails. Polesie National Park protects marshes, cranes, and extraordinary wetland-peat ecosystems.
The Lublin Region is also vineyards — the region is becoming the most important wine area in Poland. Worth combining a walk with a tasting of local wines.
