OPOLE REGION
Fairytale castles and villages on the trail.
Moszna, Paczków, Góra Świętej Anny. A small region with the largest concentration of castles and palaces in Poland.
Fairytale Castles
The Opole Region is the most fairytale-like region in Poland. Moszna — a castle with 99 towers and an English park, one of the most beautiful palaces in Europe. Paczków — a fortified town with walls almost untouched since the 14th century.
Within 50 kilometers — a dozen castles and palaces, each with a different story. An ideal region for a weekend with children who will love the fairytale setting.
Góra Świętej Anny and Villages
Góra Świętej Anny is the oldest sanctuary in Silesia, embedded in a volcanic landscape. Amphitheater, monastery, geological trails — all surrounded by greenery.
The Opole Region is also a multicultural region — Silesian villages, German influences, Czech neighborhood. Traces of all these cultures are visible in the architecture and customs.
