WARMIA-MASURIA

Lakes, kayaks, and Poland's green lungs.

The land of a thousand lakes. Masuria, Warmia, the Elbląg Canal, and forests where you can rest from civilization.

Land of a Thousand Lakes

Masuria is Poland's most lakeland region — over 2,000 lakes scattered among forests, villages, and small towns. It is a paradise for kayakers, sailors, and everyone seeking peace by the water.

But Masuria is not just sails and ports. It is also misty mornings on the lake, wooden piers, fishermen at dawn, and silence broken only by the paddle's splash.

Warmia, Elbląg, and Frombork

Warmia is the lesser-known sister of Masuria. Frombork, where Copernicus wrote 'On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres', Lidzbark Warmiński with its Gothic castle, Olsztyn with the Chapter Castle — all places where history meets nature.

The Elbląg Canal is a global phenomenon — ships glide over grass, not water. One of the few tourist attractions in the world that truly surprises.
