Castles by train

The world’s largest brick castle, a residence above a gorge and a palace with its own theatre — all within reach of a train. No car, no parking at the gate.

Castles in Poland are usually associated with a car trip, yet the five most important ones are within reach of rail — often a short walk from the station. Malbork is two and a half hours from Warsaw, Książ needs a change in Wałbrzych, and Wawel is a 20-minute walk from Kraków Główny.

Travel times and rail access come from our rail hub; always check the timetable before you go.
